CyanogenOS is an operating system that has shipped on many devices, built by several different companies; YU, OnePlus, Wileyfox, ZUK & others.

A unique feature of Cyanogen’s software is the capability to skin the operating system, without having to modify the codebase. This is accomplished by using the native Theme system that is built into the rom.

I worked with each manufacturer to brainstorm and design a unique theme that suited their brand and core demographic target.

From wallpapers, icons or bootanimations, I was responsible for design, production and integration. This also included custom controls and interface treatments.

Because we were limited to strictly UI changes, each project was an interesting challenge to bring unique characteristics within the bounds of the pre-determined values that we were able to modify.
